After graduating from the Department of Mining Engineering in 2002, I began my career in the mining industry as a Research and Development Engineer. For several years, I was responsible for conducting planning studies for the active production activities of 3 underground and 2 open-pit mines.
With extensive experience in both underground and open-pit mine planning, I progressed in my career to roles in Mine Management and beneficiation plant management.
I have actively participated in various projects involving the preparation of technical reports and profitability analysis for potential and active investments, utilizing commodity market data that I obtained.
Throughout my ongoing career in strategic planning and investment valuation, I have successfully integrated mathematical modeling and optimization studies into my profession, particularly in the field of investment valuation.
My education includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Fatih University and the Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA) certification from the Corporate Finance Institute (CFI). Additionally, I have completed a Machine Learning Specialization, enhancing my ability to integrate AI-driven solutions into mining operations.
I have experience using Datamine and Surpac mining software, MS Project and other MS Office programs for project management, and Power BI & Query for financial modeling. In my recent projects, I have focused on integrating machine learning algorithms and statistical methods for Mining Operations.
I have been awarded the Competent Person certificate by UMREK (National Resources and Reserves Reporting Committee/TR) since 2019, based on my professional experience and skills.
